Experience

I graduated from Dartmouth College three years ago with a major in Romance Studies (Portuguese/French) and a minor in Hispanic Studies (Spanish). My undergraduate career included two study abroad programs in Salvador, Brazil and Paris, France. During an off-term I also interned as an ESL Teacher at a private bilingual school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and worked with middle and high school-aged students. I served as a French Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth and as a Spanish Teaching Assistant at a language camp held at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH. I also served as a French and Spanish tutor through the Academic Skills Center at the college. Although much of my recent tutoring experience is in foreign languages and ESL, throughout high school I tutored my peers in math. I scored a 33 on the ACT Math when I was in high school which placed me at the 99th pecentile of college-bound seniors.
